David Ragan Wraps Up Season with FRM, Looks To 2013

HOMESTEAD, FL – Completing his first season at Front Row Motorsports, David Ragan finished 31st in Sunday’s Ford EcoBoost 400 at the Homestead-Miami (Fla.) Speedway.  The finish helped Ragan finish 28th in driver points and the 34 team finished 29th in owner points- both are high marks for the growing Front Row Motorsports organization.

Ragan and the Jay Guy-led team were able to play the fuel mileage game at the end of the race to advance 31st at the end of the night.  The fuel mileage strategy helped overcome a car that lacked the speed it needed to stay with the top-25.

“Today was a long race and a tough race for us.  I think Jay Guy made a great call on the fuel mileage and that may have helped gain a few spots. But, overall, it’s been a good start for me at Front Row Motorsports” said Ragan. “I want to keep moving forward with this team and be a part of helping to improve this organization.”

Although it was not the race the team hoped for, the result still helped give Front Row Motorsports their best finish in a Cup season.  Ragan is now prepared to build for 2013.
