Crisp County deputy arrested for alleged DUI after crash
Deputy Kendall Evans has been released on bond and is suspended pending investigation.

CRISP COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Crisp County deputy was arrested for an alleged DUI, according to a press release from the Crisp County Sheriff’s Office.
Georgia State Patrol was requested to assist a two-vehicle accident on 24th Ave E near 4th Street in Cordele on April 21 around midnight. The crash involved an off-duty Sheriff’s Deputy.
22-year-old Deputy Kendall Evans was arrested for an alleged DUI and booked into the Crisp County Detention Center. Evans has been released on bond and is suspended pending investigation.
Crisp County EMS transported two individuals to a local hospital and both were released.
Georgia State Patrol is investigating the accident.
