Crisis Line & Safe House to host Sip Sip Hooray

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Crisis Line & Safe House of Central Georgia is hosting Sip Sip Hooray, an event to benefit victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and stalking, along with their children staying at the organization.
The nonprofit serves Bibb, Crawford, Houston, Jones, Monroe, Peach and Twiggs counties.
Jamie Borman, executive director of Crisis Line & Safe House of Central Georgia, says the mission is to provide community crisis intervention, safe shelter, comprehensive support and recovery services for victims of sexual assault and domestic violence, as well as educate the community about the cycle of violence and its prevention.
Borman says anyone in need of resources from Crisis Line & Safe House can call the 24-hour crisis hotline at 478-745-9292.
Sip Sip Hooray is Sept. 25 at 6:30 p.m. at the Historic Terminal Station in Macon. Attendees will enjoy a five-course tasting menu from Compass Rose Cafe paired with featured wines.
