Crimestoppers Increases Reward For Robbers Posing As Law Enforcement
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Macon police are still on the hunt for the criminals who posed as local law enforcement officers. Now an additional $5000 reward has been offered for any information leading to their arrests.
The incident happened on June 12 at the home office for Margarita’s on Log Cabin Drive. Two men pounded on the door and showed what looked like a search warrant for the house. The victim allowed the men to enter, they restrained him, and stole an undisclosed amount of cash.
According to a news release, the suspects left the scene in a dark color SUV, possibly a Suburban with a chrome front. One suspect is approximately 6’5 and 195lbs, with gold teeth. The second suspect is approximately 5’7 and weighs 150lbs. He has facial acne and brownish-blonde hair.
