Crawford County Deputies File Lawsuit Against County Leaders

Four Crawford County Sheriff’s deputies are taking fellow county leaders to court.

In May, the deputies filed a complaint surrounding potential changes in the retirement benefits plan, but commissioners still haven’t taken any action.

On October 6th, Terry Berger, Johnny Cleveland, Jason Resa, and Thomas Wallace brought that complaint to the courts. They filed a law suit against the Crawford County Board of Commissioners and Sheriff’s Department.

The 2007 Crawford County Policy, states that any unused sick time and personal leave can be combined together to be used toward retirement.
