Covington Academy Hires Clint Humphrey as new Varsity Football Head Coach

The Covington Academy Rams Varsity Football Program has welcomed a new head coach for the second year in a row

MACON, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – The Covington Academy Rams Varsity Football program have found their new head coach just three weeks before the high school football season kicks off. CA has hired Clint Humphrey to take the helm of their football program as new head coach of the Rams.

Coach Humphrey has GISA coaching experience with Deerfield-Windsor school, Sherwood Christian, Westfield, and Southland.  Humphrey will also serve as Covenant Academy’s Assistant Head of School, and Grammar School Administrator.

Humphrey replaces Matt Murphy, who held his first ever head coaching job for just one season with the Rams.
