Convicted felon arrested on gun, drug charges in Reynolds
According to the Reynolds Police Department, it stopped a driver on State Highway 96. Officers say during the stop, they smelled marijuana which led to probable cause to search the vehicle.

REYNOLDS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A traffic stop for a moving violation in Reynolds on Wednesdasy leads to a felony gun arrest.
According to the Reynolds Police Department, it stopped a driver on State Highway 96. Officers say during the stop, they smelled marijuana which led to probable cause to search the vehicle.
During the search, police say they found a small amount marijuana and a fully loaded gun that was reported stolen.
Officers say it was also discovered the driver, 21-year-old Justin Denson, was a convicted felon for armed robbery and was on active felony probation.
Denson was arrested and charged with the following:
Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon – Felony
Theft by Receiving Stolen Property – Felony
Following to Closely – Misdemeanor
Possession of Marijuana – Misdemeanor
