Communities Issue Curfews Ahead of Hurricane Michael

GEORGIA (WMGT/41NBC) – As Hurricane Michael approaches Middle Georgia, several areas have issued mandatory curfews:

Baldwin County and Milledgeville: Police Chief Dray Swicord and Sheriff Bill Massee have issued a curfew beginning at 11:00pm Wednesday until further notice.

Bleckley County: Sheriff Kris Coody announces that there will be a county wide curfew from 9:00pm Wednesday until 9:00pm Thursday.

City of Byron: Curfew issued from 11pm tonight until 7am tomorrow morning.

City of Cochran: A curfew will be enforced between 8:00pm Wednesday until 8:00pm Thursday.

Crisp County: Until Sunrise Thursday

Dooly County: Until 7AM Thursday

Hancock County: Until 11AM Thursday

Laurens County: Until Noon Thursday

Macon County: Until 8AM Thursday

Pulaski County: Until Further Notice

Sandersville: Until Noon Thursday

Treutlen: Until Noon Thursday

Twiggs County: Until 7AM Thursday
