Cochran-Bleckley County Chamber of Commerce to host Country Fest, more seasonal activities

BLECKLEY COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Cochran-Bleckley County Chamber of Commerce is hosting Country Fest and other seasonal activities for the community.

There will be a scarecrow contest judged on October 11 and the Miss Pumpkin Pageant on October 17. Barker said the main events for Country Fest will be October 18 in downtown Cochran. Country Fest activities will include a pumpkin run, car show, chili cookoff, live entertainment, a kid zone and more.

Another key event for Bleckley County will be Second Saturday, which takes place on October 11. Food trucks will be available starting at 6 p.m., and live music from The Daniel and Tim Project will begin at 7 p.m.

Barker also said the chamber will host its monthly Bingo Night on October 20 at 6:30 p.m. at the Chamber Commons on North Second Street.
