Cochran-Bleckley Chamber announces Second Saturday concert, March events

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Cochran-Bleckley County Chamber of Commerce is preparing for its Second Saturday event and encouraging the community to take part in upcoming family-friendly activities.

Melissa Barker, president and CEO of the chamber, said events are planned throughout the year with a focus on bringing the community together.

Second Saturday is scheduled for March 14 and will feature the Georgia-based band Rivertown Breakdown. The band was formed in 2021 and includes two Cochran natives.

The free event begins at 6:30 p.m. at 102 N. Second St. in Cochran. Food trucks will be on site.

Additional March events include:

  • March 16: Bingo at 6:30 p.m.

  • March 18: Lunch and Learn, “Small Business Budgeting and Financial Forecasting,” at noon

  • March 25: Digital Marketing Bootcamp at 1 p.m.

  • March 26: Business After Hours at 5:30 p.m.
