Coach’s Corner: Spoon Risper of the Westside Seminoles

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Westside Seminoles finished 6-5 last season, after finishing 9-4 in 2015.

Won four straight games to reach the playoffs, but lost in the first round to Pierce County.

This is head coach Sheddrick Risper’s 9th season.

OFFENSE:

• 8 starters returning, including Lakelvin Clark and Emanuel Boone.
• Question mark on who will replace QB Savion Knowlton.

DEFENSE:

• 7 returning starters, including Allen Banks, Omar Jones, and Tavores Pearson.
• Defensive backs will be another question mark.
• Will have a new defensive coordinator.

FIRST GAME: August 18th, versus Howard at the Ed DeFore Sports Complex. The Seminoles are 5-0 all-time against Howard.
