Coach’s Corner: Greg Moore of the FPD Vikings

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The FPD Vikings finished 2016 with a record of 7 wins versus 5 loses. They reached the playoffs and defeated Aquinas before losing to the eventual state champs in Eagle’s Landing.

FPD started the season 4-0, and lost three games in region play.

They will play in Region 7-A with Mount de Sales, Stratford, Tattnall, Twiggs County, and Wilkinson County.

This will be the 18th season for head coach Greg Moore.

OFFENSE:

• 6 starters will be returning for the Vikings.
• This includes quarterback Dalton Cox, TE Blaine Kizer, WR Titus Moore, and OL’s JaCobe Singletary, Bryant Beall and John Lester.

DEFENSE:

• 5 starters back for the defense.
• DL Seth Wilson, LB Ryan Jones, and DB Robert Johnson.

FIRST GAME: August 26th versus Central at Mercer in the Macon TD Kickoff Classic.
