Coach’s Corner: David Bruce of the Veterans Warhawks

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Last year, the Veterans Warhawks only went 5-2, and 2-2 in region play. They did reach the playoffs, however, but lost to Starr’s Mills in the first round by a score of 38-17.

Veterans will be in Region 1-5A with Bainbridge, Harris County, Thomas County, Central, and Warner Robins.

This will be head coach David Bruce’s 8th season with the team.

OFFENSE:

• The Warhawks will have six returning starters.
• This includes quarterback Leyton Pinckney, ATH Jeremy Horton, and OL Jake Roberts.

DEFENSE:

• Only three returning starters.
• Two of them are DE Andrew Ensley and DB Justin Stevens.

FIRST GAME: August 18th vs. Northgate.
