MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Good morning to you all! This morning we are starting out with no rain on radar and temperatures in the 50s. For today we will see mostly cloudy skies with temperatures in the 70s. A few light showers are possible in middle Georgia. The best rain chance will come today into Saturday. This could bring the chance for a few storms, some of which could be severe. Best timing for the worst of the weather seems to be sometime between 12 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday. We will see the chance for damaging winds, small hail, flooding, and isolated tornadoes. Another one to three inches of rain is possible today into Saturday. We could be dealing with some river flooding as we enter the weekend, as we already have a river flood warning for Ocmulgee , Flint, and Oconee Rivers . There is a flood watch for most of middle Georgia until 1 a.m. Sunday. Sunday will be a good day in the low 60s with clearer skies. Next week we will be sunny in the 60s on Monday. We will also return to the 70s on Tuesday with much drier conditions expected.
