Clinical Trials offered at Peyton Anderson Cancer Center
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – You don’t have to travel far to participate in clinical trials.
The Peyton Anderson Cancer Center in Macon received another national accreditation.
The center received the accreditation from the American College of Surgeons (ACS).
Doctor Paul Dale, Cancer Center Director of Peyton Anderson Cancer Center, said this award mean his staff is dedicated to giving patients top quality care.
“This year we got a special recognition cause of our nurse practitioners and navigators who are helping our patients navigate through the whole process of cancer care,” Dale said.
The center has to meet standards set by the ACS for the three year accreditation.
Dale said the center has received the accreditation since 1922.
