City of Cochran to host annual Christmas Parade

The parade starts at 7 p.m. on December 6 in Downtown Cochran. Float judging begins at 5:30 p.m.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The City of Cochran is hosting the annual Christmas Parade on Friday.

The parade starts at 7 p.m. on December 6 in Downtown Cochran. Float judging begins at 5:30 p.m.

Cochran Mayor Billy Yeomans says this is a family-friendly event for everyone.

Yeomans says there will be floats, dance performances, festive vehicles and equine entries throughout the parade.  There will be a special appearance by Santa Claus.

The parade begins at the corner of 3rd Street and Ann Street (behind Wendy’s), travels down Second Street towards downtown, and ends at Ash Street.
