Cities Host Christmas Tree Recycling Programs
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Now that Christmas is over, many of you may be wondering what to do with your tree.
There are two chances for you to recycle your tree. The Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful Commission is hosting the annual “Bring One to the Chipper” on Saturday fom 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Central City Park.
Keep Warner Robins Beautiful is also hosting a tree recycling program on Saturday called “The Great Christmas Tree Round-Up” from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Maple Street. Most trees will be chipped into much and used to keep parks green and beautiful. As an extra bonus, you will receive a free tree seedling for each tree you bring in.
