Armed robbery under investigation at Circle K on Chambers Road
The Bibb County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery at a Circle K convenience store on Chambers Road in Macon.
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery at a Circle K convenience store on Chambers Road in Macon.
Deputies say the robbery happened around 5:46 a.m. Monday at the store located at 4775 Chambers Road after a person entered the business, pointed a firearm and demanded money.
Investigators said the suspect fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as a man wearing all dark clothing.
The investigation remains ongoing, and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
