Church Organizes Search Efforts for Missing MGSC Student, GBI Joins Investigation
COCHRAN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – It’s been nearly two weeks since Middle Georgia State College student Jmaal Keyes went missing, now his church is assisting in efforts to find him.
Members of Destiny World Church in Austell, Georgia plan to canvas the area of the Cochran campus where he was last seen April 25. The church’s pastor Wilbus Purvis and family members will begin searching early Tuesday morning.
Keyes is from the metro Atlanta area. MGSC Campus Police Chief Shawn Douglas said he did not have a car and his dorm appears to be intact. The Georgia Bureau of Investigations is also assisting in the case.
