Christ United Methodist Church To Host Third Blood Drive This Year

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The American Red Cross has issued an emergency call for all blood types and platelets. Christ United Methodist Church is hosting it’s third blood drive of the year. This time, it is in support of someone close to them, George Ealer, who is recovering from aortic dissection. Al Fatkin stopped by Daybreak to promote the blood drive and explain how your donation could help save the life of a patient in need.

The blood drive is Monday, August 5 at Christ United Methodist Church located at 511 Russell Parkway. It starts at 11A.M. Childcare will be provided during the drive. For more information, call (478) 971-4013.
