Chrissy Miner at the helm of 21stCentury Partnership
Chrissy miner is the new interim president and CEO of the 21st century partnership. Her job is to ensure that the base continues to be one of the economic engines of Middle Georgia.
Miner joined the Partnership in January of 2013 and was instrumental in preparing the base and community for the implementation of Sequestration and the associated budgetary challenges to the regional community. Prior to joining the Partnership, she was a Public Affairs Officer at Robins Air Force Base.
“It’s a 2.9 billion dollar annual economic impact, 52 cents of every dollar in Houston County comes directly from that base, and 28 cents of every dollar in middle Georgia comes directly from that base,” said Miner.
Miner says base realignment closure, known as “BRAC” is on the horizon. Minor is working to ensure that the department of defense budget cuts will not severely affect Robins Air Force Base.
However, she says changes could come in 2016.
