Chillier highs for the last weekend of autumn
The normal high this time of the year is 59, and the high today will just about match it at 56. The cold front really just brought us back to normal for highs, but the lows are a different story. Average low is 36, yet we’ll be at 27 tomorrow morning for a low. Brr.
High pressure remains in the southeast, giving us a sunny last autumn weekend. Monday kicks off the winter season, but it’ll be mild with a high of 64.
You’ll also notice from the third picture that there’s rain in the forecast next week. Temperatures are expected to warm to the 70s starting Tuesday and, yes, through Christmas Eve at least, if not Christmas Day. With rain coming into the area for several days, rain estimatess are currently between 1 – 2 inches next week.
