Children’s hospital says freezer failure destroyed stem cells for dozens of cancer patients
The stem cells of 56 patients at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles were destroyed due to a “freezer malfunction.” The hospital says “no child’s health is in jeopardy” after the incident, but patients tell NBC News that it’s sad and scary news if they were to relapse.
