Child safety seat inspections offered in Macon on Saturday

The Bibb County Sheriff's Office and partners will be offering child safety seat inspections and replacing worn, expired, and damaged car seats on Saturday, April 6.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office and partners will be offering child safety seat inspections and replacing worn, expired, and damaged car seats on Saturday, April 6.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is partnering with the Macon Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office, Atlanta Fire Rescue and the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety for the event.

It will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot of Macon Mall, located at 3661 Eisenhower Parkway.

Children must be present during the inspection. Child safety seats that are worn, expired or damaged will be replaced while supplies last.
