Chick-Fil-A Selects Middle Georgia as Test Region for New Breakfast Items
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Middle Georgia is one of the lucky regions that will test out Chick-fil-A’s brand new breakfast items!
Toasted English muffins, maple waffles and cinnamon biscuit rolls are among the new items at the popular chain restaurant. All of these items and more are being launched in just three areas around the country, Middle georgia being one of them. The products are also being tested in the greater Philadelphia area and Inland Empire, California.
Aimee Lashley, area marketing director for the popular restaurant, says the chain just wanted to offer a little bit more than just chicken for breakfast.
“We found that as Chick-fil-A expands into different regions, different bread carriers are more popular in different regions,” Lashley told 41NBC. “So we are testing a new bagel and also the addition of an English muffin, which gives people more of a choice when they’re selecting their breakfast sandwiches. They can choose any of the proteins we offer, which is bacon, sausage or, of course, chicken…and now they can have it in a biscuit, a bagel, or an English muffin.”
Chick-fil-a is also replacing grapes in their popular fruit cups with blueberries.
