Cherry Blossom Tea
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Tea time was everything pink today. From the lemonade to the cookies the proteges of the Mentors Project served up delicious treats.
The annual Cherry Blossom Tea was held at the American Red Cross.
The tea is a time for the young women to learn proper etiquette.
“It’s all about teaching social skills and enjoying the beautiful spring weather,” said June O’Neal, Executive Director of the Mentors Project.
O’Neal says there are 75 children on the waiting list for a mentor. If you’re interested in volunteering your time call the Mentors Project at (478) 765-8624.
