Cherry Blossom Festival Royal Court applications open

Applicants can apply online by January 24. The cost to apply is $50.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- Preparation is underway for the 43rd Annual Cherry Blossom Festival and Royal Court applications are open for the community.

Director of Marketing and Fulfillment for the Cherry Blossom Festival, Hannah Theus, says they are looking for enthusiastic ambassadors for the Cherry Blossom Festival.

Here are the following age groups for the Royal Court:

Little Mr and Ms Cherry Blossom (Ages 5-7)
Princess (8th Graders)
Queen (High School Juniors: Winner will receive a scholarship from Wesleyan College)
Legacy (55+)

Ambassadors will be selected through a private interview process.

The winner of each age group will be crowned on stage at The Douglass Theatre at the 2025 Queen, Princess, and Legacy Queen Coronation. The event will be February 27 at 5:30 p.m.
