Cherry Blossom Festival Names New Interim CEO

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A new leader has been named to take over the Cherry Blossom Festival.

According to a news release, Jake Ferro will head the pinkest party on Earth as the Interim President and CEO of the annual event.

Richard Brewer resigned from the position last week after only four months on the job.

Previously, Ferro worked in the cement and kaolin industries. He was the CEO of Bonsal American, Inc. in Charlotte, NC and President of J.M. Huber Corporation in Macon.
