MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A coffee shop in Macon says it’s seeing a boost in business as crowds gather for the International Cherry Blossom Festival.

Z Beans Coffee is offering its annual Cherry Blossom Latte along with a new matcha drink this year as part of its festival themed menu. Employees say the influx of visitors has already led to an increase in customers compared to a typical weekend.

“Cherry Blossom Festival is always really busy for us,” Mary Catherine Stewart said. “Over the weekend already we had about 100 extra customers than we typically would in a weekend.”

The shop says the festival not only brings more people through its doors but also helps highlight seasonal menu items inspired by the event.

Z Beans is encouraging the community and visitors to stop by and try its themed drinks while enjoying the festivities happening across Macon.
