Cherry Blossom Festival events canceled for Friday

Events canceled due to expected inclement weather.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Cherry Blossom Festival has canceled all official festival events on Friday, March 22 due to expected inclement weather.

Third Street Park and the Festival at Carolyn Crayton Park will be canceled on Friday, according to a press release. The Blanco Brown concert featuring the Ying Yang Twins will also be canceled.

The Cherry Blossom Festival will reopen on Saturday, March 23. Event hours for this weekend have been updated.

Saturday’s hours are 10 a.m. -7 p.m. at Food Truck Frenzy and 10 a.m.-10 p.m. at Carolyn Crayton Park.

Sunday’s hours are 10 a.m.-7 p.m. for Food Truck Frenzy and 10 a.m.-9 p.m. at Carolyn Crayton Park.
