2020 Cherry Blossom Festival canceled due to COVID-19 outbreak

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Cherry Blossom organizers announced Friday that they are canceling all of its events.

The announcement comes after mass cancellations and suspensions across the country due to COVID-19.

The Department of Public Health says there are 42 confirmed cases in Georgia as of Friday morning.
