Charges Dropped Against One Man in Zodiac Lounge Shooting

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Charges were dismissed for one of the men accused in the Zodiac Lounge shooting, and according to Macon Police the incident was caught on camera.

According to police, 27-year-old Jarrett Taylor was released from the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center on Friday. Taylor was one of the eight people charged with criminal attempt to commit murder and participation in street gang activity. The charges stem from the July 5 night club shooting which left three people injured and a teenager dead.

41NBC spoke with Taylor Wednesday and he declined to go on camera. However, Taylor says he is innocent and was not at the Zodiac Lounge at the time of the shooting.

John Michael Hollingshed, who was arrested Tuesday at the Value Place hotel in Columbus, is accused of shooting Deon Davis eight times at close range, according to the arrest warrant. The warrant added that Hollingshed passed the gun to another murder suspect, Andre Bonner. Bonner is named as the gunman who shot 17-year-old Jammoni Bland five times, killing the teenager.

According to the arrest warrant, Hollingshed can be seen on the surveillance video shooting Davis.
