Changes coming to Macon bus routes

The Macon-Bibb Transit Authority announces upcoming changes to bus routes. These changes will affect four bus routes and go into affect April 15, 2024:

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) –  The Macon-Bibb Transit Authority announces upcoming changes to bus routes. These changes will affect four bus routes and go into affect April 15, 2024:

• Eisenhower/Chambers inbound will be rerouted from Mulberry Street to Plum Street.
• North Highland inbound/outbound section of Mulberry Street between Spring Street & Old Broadway will be rerouted to Walnut Street.
• Ocmulgee inbound section of Mulberry Street between Spring Street & Old Broadway will be rerouted to Walnut Street.
• Ocmulgee outbound leaving the Transfer Station will use Mulberry Street to Old Broadway back to Walnut Street.
