CGTC men’s basketball one win away from GCAA championship game after tournament victory
Central Georgia Technical College improves to 23–6 after 75–65 win in GCAA Tournament quarterfinal.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The CGTC basketball GCAA tournament run continued Tuesday night as Central Georgia Technical College defeated Southern Crescent Technical College 75–65 in the quarterfinal round.
The game was played at Titans Arena in Macon.
With the win, Central Georgia Technical College improved to 23–6 this season and advanced to the semifinal round of the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association Tournament.
GCAA Player of the Year Roosevelt Brown led the Titans with 21 points. Several Central Georgia Technical College players finished in double figures as the team maintained the lead during the second half.
Central Georgia Technical College forced turnovers and limited scoring opportunities for Southern Crescent late in the game.
The win moves the Titans forward in the CGTC basketball GCAA tournament, where they will face Gordon State College in the semifinal round.
The game is scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday at Titans Arena in Macon.
The winner of that game will advance to the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association championship game.
