CGTC Macon Campus Summer Bash
CGTC students, faculty, and staff made their way over to the “H” building for free food and drinks, music, and games.
One of the most popular events was the cornhole toss.
CGTC basketball player Aleisha Merriweather says she enjoyed the good sportsmanship among the faculty and students.
“I’ve just been hanging out with friends saying ‘hey’ to everybody and eating good food,” says Merriweather.
The college’s Campus Life Department sponsored the Summer Bash event.
The Executive Director, Bruce Foster, says the event was created to relieve stress for CGTC’s students.
“We want an atmosphere of campus life where students have the opportunity to enjoy things other than their academic studies, which is very important. But, at the same time it’s great to have a ball, have fun.”
CGTC Campus Life will hold its next Summer Bash on the college’s Warner Robins campus Thursday.
