CGTC Loses Heartbreaker to Gordon State College, 76-69

MACON, Georgia (CGTC RELEASE) – Gordon State College, led by Dovante’ Thornton’s 23 points and 19 points from Danarious Lockhart fought back from 15 down to claim a 76-69 victory over the Titans.

Titans forward Brentine Taylor had a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough to help the Titans to their 18th win of the season.

Titans guard Rydealous “Spud” Taylor had two costly turnovers with less than a minute left that sealed the loss for the Titans. CGTC falls to 17-9, 9-7 on the season.

The Titans will face Georgia Highlands on Wednesday, February 12 at 7 p.m. in Macon.
