Central GA Tech Titans Win A Tough Game Over GA Perimeter College 85-77

MACON, Georgia (CGTC RELEASE) – The CGTC Titans pull off a hard fought victory over conference rival Georgia Perimeter College.

The Jaguars led most of the first half, but a surge by the Titans helped CGTC to a 43-42 lead at the halfway point. The second half was a back and forth affair with GPC fouling and CGTC missing free throws.  The Titans hung on to an 85 – 77 victory over the Jaguars.

The Jaguars were led by former middle Georgia standout Quintavias Virgil 11 points (Central High) and 23 points by Shane Henry. The Titans had a well balanced attack with four in double digits (Brentine Taylor-27 points, Cameron Baker-21 points, LaJuan Clarington-13 points, & Tobiasz Hose-12 points).

The CGTC Titans improve to 9-3 (2-2) on the season.  “It was a total team team effort,” said coach Reco Dawson.  “Our guys fought hard and showed toughness.”

The Titans will be back on the road at South Georgia on December 17.
