Centerville to host Food Truck Friday with vendors, music

The event is set for May 1 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Center Park, located at 103 E. Church St.

CENTERVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The City of Centerville is bringing back its Food Truck Friday event with live music and a lineup of local vendors at Center Park.

The event is set for May 1 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Center Park, located at 103 E. Church St.

Organizers say the evening will feature performances by Eddie Stone of Doc Holliday and Rob Walker of Stillwater from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., followed by The Soul Shine Band from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Officials said a variety of food trucks will be on site, including Chick-fil-A, DOT Bowl, Frosty Frog Shaved Ice, Jail Creek Winery, Kona Ice of Houston County, Kimika Latina Café, Nanny Stuff Concession, Peach Cobbler Factory, Peewee Bakery, Salsa’s Mexican Grill, Shiver Shack Concessions, Scott Boys Smokin BBQ, Soul2Soul Food and Tasting at the Burrough.

Organizers say the event is open to the public and aims to bring the community together for an evening of food and entertainment.
