Centerville Officer Killed in Motorcycle Accident

A Centerville Police officer was killed today when his motorcycle hit a Chevy Suburban.

45-year old Sergeant Woody Hudgens of Byron was traveling down Russell Parkway when he collided with the  SUV, which was turning left on Corder Road. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

His passenger, 29-year old Ginger Palmer of Warner Robins is in critical condition at the Medical Center of Central Georgia.

The driver of the Chevy Suburban, 59-year old Paula Pender of Warner Robins was not injured, but charges are pending.
