Centerville Gym Is Remembering Those Who Lost Their Lives In 9/11

CENTERVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – In remembrance of those who lost their lives in the September 11th attacks, Crunch Fitness in Centerville is hosting its annual tribute challenge.

On the 23rd anniversary of the tragedy, gym staff and members are participating in an event to simulate the experience faced by first responders during the World Trade Center Twin Towers attack. Participants are climbing 110 flights of stairs on the gym’s StairMasters, representing the number of floors in the Twin Towers.

This tradition, held every year on the anniversary of 9/11, serves as a tribute to the victims and the heroic first responders who risked their lives that day. The gym encourages its community to honor the fallen by taking part in the physically demanding challenge and reflecting on the sacrifices made on that day.

The gym is offering a week-long membership to anyone who takes on the challenge. Participants can keep climbing until 9 Wednesday night.
PARTICIPANTS CAN KEEP CLIMBING UNTIL 9 TONIGHT.
