Cat of the Week: Kobe

MACON, Georgia. (41NBC/WMGT) – This week’s “Cat of the Week” is Kobe!

Kobe is a ten week old, grey and white kitten.

Kobe has a few siblings and loves playing around in the cages with them. He is energetic, yet calm and affectionate.

Deborah Reddish, a volunteer at Kitty City Cat Rescue, says Kobe has received two of his three rounds of kitty shots. He is currently available for pre-adoption from Kitty City Cat Rescue. Once Kobe receives his final round of shots, you can take him home!

Because Kobe is still in his “kitty” stage of life, Reddish recommends he go to a family with older children since he doesn’t retract his claws and might scratch younger kids unintentionally.

If you’re interested in adopting Kobe, his siblings or any other cats from Kitty City Cat Rescue, stop by the rescue center located at 4530 Knight Road in Macon. You can also check out their Facebook page or give them a call at 478-305-7799 for more information.

If you have any free time, Kitty City Cat Rescue is always looking for volunteers to help out at the shelter. Duties range from clean up and organization to playing with all the wonderful kitties!
