Car break-in suspect arrested within minutes

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb Sheriff’s deputies say they made an arrest minutes after receiving a report of a car break-in.  It happened Thursday just after 1:00 p.m. at Tattnall Square Academy.

Wesley Powell Gilbert was seen wandering around school property.  The 23-year-old is charged with entering auto, possession of marijuana, and a probation violation.

At last check, Gilbert is still in jail with a $2,600 bond.
