Calm weather today

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – After lots of severe weather yesterday, today will be mostly sunny and in the low 50s. Overnight we will be mostly clear with temperatures in the low to mid 30s. Tomorrow will be the nicest day this week with mostly sunny skies and highs in the low 60s. You better get out and enjoy it because on Friday we will get another round of severe weather. Overnight Thursday into Friday we could see a few showers across the area. On Friday we unfortunately have another chance to see strong to severe storms in Middle Georgia. We’re under a level 3/5 risk already. The threat does exist for damaging winds, hail, and the possibility of a tornado. Stay tuned to 41NBC for the latest on this developing system. As we head into the weekend we are gonna see mostly sunny skies and cool temperatures in the 50s. Next week looks to bring the coldest temperatures of winter into the area.
