Cab driver shot at Macon apartment complex

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault that happened at Colonial Terrace Apartment, just before 9 PM Wednesday. According to reports, Yellow Cab Driver Antonio Pryor of Macon was called to the location to pick up a customer.

While Pryor was waiting, an unknown male suspect entered the back of the cab and another male wearing a black ski mask approached the driver’s side window. The suspect with the mask shot into Pryor’s cab, striking him once in the chest. Both suspects fled on foot.

Pryor drove himself to the Navicent Health Center and is listed in stable condition at this time. No one else was injured in the incident.
