Buyers go home with pieces of New Perry Hotel

PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Since closing its doors to guests on New Year’s Day, the New Perry Hotel is undergoing renovations with plans to attract new guests. 

A liquidation sale for property is going on Friday through Sunday where residents can buy a piece of history including head boards, bed frames, lamps, and more. 

“We’re selling everything. If you stand still too long we’ll stick a price tag on you,” Jillinda Falen with the liquidation company said. 

Five percent of the proceeds are going to the Friends of Perry Animal Shelter and the Perry Area Historic Society.
