UPDATE: Man and woman wanted for their connection to Butts County murder case

UPDATE: Tuesday, April 7th, 2020 at 5:45 a.m.

JACKSON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Butts County Sheriff’s Investigators now believe 21 year old Autumn Finlay is actually assisting 20 year old Cody Matthews.

According to a post on the Butts County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, investigators believe Finlay is helping Matthews to avoid apprehension.

Matthews is still wanted for murder and aggravated assault. Finlay is now wanted for aiding and abetting a fugitive.

The post goes on to say that both Matthews and Finlay are considered armed and dangerous.

A cash reward is being offered for anyone who spots them. Call 911 immediately if you see them.

JACKSON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Butts County Sheriff’s Investigators are looking for a murder suspect.

According to a post on the Butts County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, 20 year old Cody Matthews is wanted for murder and aggravated assault. The post says he’s considered armed and dangerous.

The post goes on to say that he may be with 21 year old Autumn Finlay. Finlay is in extreme danger and is possibly being held against her will.
