Burglary suspect arrested, one still on the run

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – One man is behind bars and another one is still wanted in connection to a burglary that happened on April 19, 2014 on Marcar Road.

Deputies say two female friends of the homeowner noticed a red Ford F150 pick up truck parked in the back of the home around 2:20 p.m.

Johney Dillon, of Lizella, and Jeffery Dillon were putting items in the bed of the truck. When asked did they need help with anything, the two suspects got into the truck and drove away quickly. The tag number of the vehicle was retrieved by one of the females and the police was notified.

The truck then came back to the home without Jeffery Dillon inside. Deputies were able to arrest Johney Dillon at the home.

He was taken to the Bibb Sheriff’s Office for questioning and was charged with 1 count of first degree burglary.

50-year-old Jeffery Dillon is still on the run. He has long shaggy blonde hair, approximately 5 feet in height and weighs around 195.
