Burgers take center stage for Warner Robins Burger Week
The event runs through September 27 and features exclusive burger creations that are not normally found on participating restaurants' menus.

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Burger lovers have a new reason to visit restaurants across Warner Robins.
Kate Hogan, director of the City of Warner Robins’ Community and Economic Development Department, said Burger Week was created as a way to spotlight local businesses and the culinary talent throughout the city.
“Burger week started as an opportunity to support our local businesses. We’re so excited to showcase all of the culinary talents that are hidden throughout Warner Robins.”
This year’s competition features restaurants putting their own spin on the classic burger.
Hogan said the competition is expected to be tough.
“This year is some stiff competition as far as our burgers our restauranteurs definitely stepped up to the challenge.”
Participating restaurants are offering special Burger Week creations for $10. The promotion includes the burger only, while sides and drinks are available for an additional cost.
At the Courtyard Marriott, the Flying Bistro is serving a burger featuring 100% beef, lettuce, tomato, avocado mash, red sautéed onions, a fried egg, bacon and jalapeños.
The burger is also served with wings, giving the creation its Flying Bistro name.
Food and Beverage Manager Debra Quarterman said the burger also comes with the restaurant’s special wing sauce.
Customers are encouraged to dine in and experience the Burger Week creations at participating restaurants. Third-party delivery is not permitted for the Burger Week burgers.
Burger Week also gives customers a chance to weigh in on their favorite creation.
Patrons can vote online for the People’s Choice Champion after checking in at a participating restaurant.
The winning restaurant will receive a banner and bragging rights until Warner Robins Burger Week 2027.
Hogan said the city will also award a giant golden burger at the end of the event.
“We’ll award a giant golden burger at the end of burger week per city Council.”
Warner Robins Burger Week does not require tickets or coupons. Customers can visit participating restaurants during the event and order the featured burger.
The event’s Burger Week Passport is also available as a free digital pass. Participants can receive the pass on their phone and use it to check in at participating locations and earn rewards.
Organizers say customers should expect potentially longer wait times during Burger Week because of the increased demand. If a restaurant sells out of its featured burger, organizers say restaurants are expected to have more available the following day.
Warner Robins Burger Week continues through Sunday September 27.
