Buckarama celebrates 25th anniversary

PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Georgia National Fairgrounds hosted the 25th Buckarama on Friday.

The event runs through the weekend. Admission is $10.

Sam Stowe with the Georgia Wildlife Federation calls the event a great way to make friends and fellowship.

“This is good people, probably some of the best folks you ever wanna be around here. You’ll find plenty of friendly people, people that’ll help you when you really need help,” Stowe said.

Attendees can buy all sorts of outdoor equipment at Buckarama including: guns, knives, camping equipment, hunting and fishing equipment, and clothes. There is also an area for kids to craft birdhouses and learn outdoor skills.
