Suspect wanted for murder of elderly man in Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a suspect, accused of shooting and killing an elderly man Wednesday evening.

Phillip Lance Rozier Sr., 53, is the man who deputies say pulled the trigger inside a home at 967 Elder Street on Wednesday evening.

Bibb deputies had responded to the home Wednesday around 6:45 p.m. in response to a body found. The victim had suffered a gunshot wound to the chest. This is the same address where a murder took place in March of 2015.

Investigators will not release the name of the victim until next of kin is notified.
